On September 18, the Latvian National Opera 2014 season opened with a new premier production of Giuseppe Verdi's opera Rigoletto. Many thanks go to President Berziņš for his invitation of 8 foster family guardians of the Latvian Foster Family Association to watch the premier from the presidential box seats. This is another example of how to help those families and children whose options are currently limited.
