Donation procedures and privacy policy

You can support the Latvian Foster Family Association with your donation. The association has been granted the status of public benefit organization. When donating to our association, you will recover part of the donated amount, indicating it in your income declaration, therefore the Donor  private person needs to indicate a personal identification code, the company - a registration number.

Donations are used to support foster families, guardians and children placed in these families, such as preparing food parcels, organizing camps, organizing integration and educational events.

The amount to be donated is optional 5 euros; 10 euros; 15 euros, as well as the opportunity to choose the donated amount up to 1000 euros.

Every donor has the right to:

Indicate the purpose for which the donation is made;

To be informed about the goals of the association, planned and organized events and projects, in which it is planned to use the donation;

To make sure that the donation is used properly for the purpose specified in the statutes of the association, receiving information to the specified e-mail address about the use of the donation in the month following the use of the donation.

Get answers to questions about the purpose of using the donation.

Receive an e-mail confirmation of a successful non-cash donation.

Apply to the association with a request to return the donated money, if the donation is made due to an error or technical problems, the donated amount does not correspond to the amount chosen by the donor.

The following personal data is processed when making a donation:

Private person - name, surname, personal identification code, e-mail, telephone number;

Legal entity - company name, surname of the responsible person, personal identification code, e-mail, telephone number.

Your data is used to prepare reports for the State Revenue Service.

You have the right to request information about the personal data we process about you.

If you believe that the personal data we have processed about you is incorrect, complete or inappropriate, you have the right to request that your personal data be updated or corrected.

If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

Your data is collected, stored and processed in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia.
