Three years ago representatives of Latvian Foster Family Association went to Bergen (Norway), to become familiar with Linnea Kompetansesenter professional activity.

Thanks to the donation made by State Joint Stock Company Latvijas Valsts meži to social field which was given under a procedure administered by Fund "Ziedot", we are able to implement the project “Second Chance”.

A thousand miles journey starts with one step. Since March, 2014. Foster Family Association of Latvia in Riga, Pērnavas str. 62. starts practice Project „Dance as chance of social inclusion”.

During the project, we will invite 20 young persons under guardianship and 10 guardians to overcome new challenges strengthening their self-esteem by doing it. Improving language skills will enable better use of available resources to improve their qualit

The project "Support Center "Dzeguzēns" (Cookoo's Child) was started in 2011 with the financial support of "Latvijas Valsts Meži". The premises of the center were refurbished and opened on 62 Pernavas street, near the LFF office.
